The trailer showcases Shalini Unnikrishnan’s harrowing journey from Kerala’s Hindu family to become Fatima and through it, makes a brilliant attempt to expose the state’s ISIS connection.
The trailer begins with a playful family scene where a mother is hand-feeding her daughter, caressing her. There is happiness in the family. However, this happiness of the family has become a thing of the past and the reason is religious conversion. The daughter of the family, Shalini Unnikrishnan, was converted to her religion by people from another religious community.
